WET TYRE REGULATION CHANGE FOR ALL CLASSES (December 2024)
In December there was a decision by club members to allow the use of Contact RC Foam Tyres J11503 L26mm Damp, for when the track is declared wet. It was made applicable to all classes for the remainder of the current winter series.
We have been testing this for the last couple of meetings and the feedback is positive.
The main problem is that AMCC members have purchased all the available pairs in the UK and Schumacher aren't expecting a restock until early March.
We have a temporary solution in that you can purchase Contact Foam Tyres J11504 L30mm Damp and have them sanded down by generous club members.
Although this is far from ideal it might be a short term solution until fresh stock is available to purchase.
